Apparently if you are editing a post and click “Add New”, it will text the text currently in the edit window and make a new post of it but if you just click “Save”, it will update whatever post it thinks your editing.
Boy, am I glad I clicked “Add New” when I posted “First thoughts” because it thought I was still editing “The Grand Experiment”.
By the way, if it doesn’t think you’re editing an existing post, Save and Add New apparently have the same function. I warned you I’d probably make comparisons to Radio, so here’s another: Radio only has one button that changes context depending on what mode you’re in. If you’re editing a post, it says “Post Changes” and if you’re adding a new post it says “Post to Weblog”. This seems fairly straightforward and logical; what am I missing?
I definitely think that’s the way to go for most (if not all) weblog tools.
